Dance! There’s No Tomorrow!

Today is May Day, half way between Spring Equinox and Summer Solstice, also called Beltane.

What better way to celebrate this ebullient and delicious turning than to Dance!  I started to write Dance Like There’s No Tomorrow! but then I thought better, and left out the ‘Like’, because there IS no tomorrow, there’s only today!

A dear friend (thanks Fiona) inspired me: “The seeds that stirred in March are uncurling themselves. It is the season of energy rising and expanding, of nourishing the fields and forests and gardens and window boxes.  A time for rejuvenation and renewal. A vital time.  A time to step into life’s grace and allow the energies to flow into our beings as we flow with Life itself.

Enjoy these Dancing Rhodos, the Red Maples in the wind, and the Nodding Crimson Tulips and Pansies, and then —

Dance dear ones!  Please!  Dance for Earth. Dance for Air,  for Fire,  for Water.   Dance for Winged Ones, Finned Ones,  Crawling Ones, and Four Leggeds. Dance for Peace.  Dance for Justice.  Dance for Sustainability.  Dance for Love.  Dance for Joy.  Dance to Celebrate your own Wondrous Being.

Dance — in any way you like, for whatever you wish to Bless, Honor and Feed. But please, DANCE! If even for a moment.

“These stories are doorways, opening us to our own journeys. This is a book to read over and over.” John D.

“The candour and humour are truly engaging, the rhythm lively, and the stories make me want more!” Mog H.

“Your book reminds us that, though most, if not all, of our travails and triumphs may be personal and private, they are at least as valuable as any found in popular media.” Judith B.
